Gaza filmmaker Mohammed Fares Al-Majdalawi seeks to reveal the reality of daily living in the Gaza Strip

Mohammed is a filmmaker, freelance Journalist and a peace activist .Through his work, films, and social media, Mohammed advocates the Palestinian cause and demonstrates the reality of life in Gaza.

His short documentary, Gaza Art Through Barbed Wire: "shows the more beautiful side of people's endeavors in Gaza. How people's expression through art, music and photography will not be suppressed despite the occupation and siege and the many difficulties they face of all different kinds. A homage to the human spirit and the creative urges people have to maintain joy and expression when it is easier not to do so. It is also a testament to the dignity and compassion of the Palestinian people whose uniquely tragic experiences have not quashed their hope and desire for peace."
